The Pura Lempuyang Temple in Bali has become internet famous, thanks to the epic ‘Gates of Heaven’, which look like a picture frame for the sky and the Mount Agung volcano. Aside from being one of the most prized Instagram photo spots in Bali, the Lempuyang Temple is also considered one of the island’s oldest and most revered temples.
➤ Upon arrival met and greeted. ➤ Thereafter proceed to hotel for check in. ➤ Proceed to Pandawa Beach which is one of the many Hidden Beaches of Bali. Hidden behind limestone cliffs that reveal wide views to the Indian Ocean, Pandawa Beach has impressive terrain and man-made limestone features that serve as a one-of-a-kind welcome into this coastal area. Beaches in Bali are known for being stunningly beautiful, but this beach is truly a special gem. White sand, crystal clear blue water and frothy surf are hidden by the enormous limestone cliff. ➤ Proceed to the Cliff Top of Uluwatu which is a stunning place in the South of Bali. Known for its Simply Stunning Views and home to some of Bali's Best Beaches. Here you have a unique combination of laid-back surfing vibes and some of the best found luxury hotels and resorts in Bali. ➤ Later in the evening proceed for a Grilled BBQ Seafood Dinner. Enjoy your delicious meal against the backdrop of the Beautiful Jimbaran Bay Sunset. No Bali trip is complete without this memorable dining experience! ➤ Transferred back to hotel for overnight stay.
➤ After breakfast depart for the Beautiful Royal Temple, (Pura Taman Ayun) known as Bali’s Cultural Treasure. It is set surrounded by a big fish pond that looks like a drift on the water. Its name translates to the Garden Temple in the Water. It is a great place to marvel at the early and traditional Balinese architectural features that prevail on the island. ➤ Next proceed to the highlands of the Mountainous Bedugul region in Bali Located on the shores of Lake Beratan, visit the mesmerizing Floating Temple (Pura Ulun Danu Beratan) This temple is dedicated to Dewi Danu, the Lake Goddess. The sight and cool atmosphere of the Bali uplands have made the lake and this temple a favourite sightseeing and photographed site. ➤ Halt for Crispy Gurame Lunch at Secret Garden Village. Set on Top of the Balinese Rural Mountains, the architecture of Secret Garden Village is a retelling of what Indonesian stage-houses could be in the middle of its beautiful natural site. ➤ Next proceed to Bali’s Most Scenic Sea Temple, Tanah Lot Temple which is a Balinese Hindu temple on the rock located in the middle of sea. It is probably the most photographed temple on the island. It has been part of the Balinese mythology for centuries. It is one of seven sea temples around the island. It is said, at the base of the rocky island, venomous sea snakes are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders and the temple is protected by a giant snake. This is one of Bali's most important landmarks, which is famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. ➤ Dinner at Wong Solo and transferred back to hotel for overnight stay.
➤ After breakfast depart for the Gateway of Heaven (Pura Lempuyang Temple an Ancient Mountain Temple in the East of Bali. This place has recently become famous due to countless photos posted on Instagram. A highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175 metres above sea level, on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. The heights are reachable via a steep staircase of over 1,700 steps, with attractions along the way that include several other temples and hordes of grey long-tailed macaques that inhabit the surrounding cool mountain forests. For those unwilling to take on the ascent up to the peak you can still enjoy the splendid views at the grand Pura Penataran Agung temple at the foot of the mountain. It’s the first to come into view on the way up and offers an impressive sight with its towering dragon staircases – perfect for photos. The best views are higher up the stairs, where you can see all across the green forested slopes and to neighbouring Mount Agung, Bali’s highest peak. ➤ After lunch at Le grande proceed to Tirtha Gangga, a Water Palace in Bali which was a former royal palace that’s been turned into beautiful gardens. Owned and maintained by the royal Karangasem family, the lavish water gardens feature 1.2 hectares of pools, ponds and fountains surrounded by neatly cut lawns that are adorned with stepping stones, ornate statues and tropical gardens. It saw a series of restorations following the destructive hot showers of volcanic ash from the Mount Agung eruption in 1963. The hiking around Tirta Gangga is excellent. Take a short Stroll into the Scenic Rice Paddies on your own along a well beaten track. ➤ Enjoy a Complimentary 1hour Balinese Massage ➤ Dinner at Simpang Raya and transferred back to hotel for overnight stay.
