➤ Upon arrival met and greeted. ➤ Proceed to Ubud, Balis Art and Cultural Capital. This place is known for its traditional crafts and dances. The surrounding Ubud District’s rainforest and terraced rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most famous landscapes. ➤ Visit the Royal Palace and Cultural Repository in Ubud Ubud Royal Palace (Puri Saren Agung). This is the palace of the Ubud royal family, making it one of the most prominent landmarks in Ubud. It serves as a cultural repository of arts, dance and literature. The palace’s stage and meeting halls host international events, including the opening ceremonies of the annual Ubud Writers & Readers Festival. Featuring well-preserved Balinese architecture and a charming garden setting, the palace was built during the lordship of Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800–1823). The front section of the palace is open to the public, where there are walkthroughs for viewing and photos during the day. ➤ Next visit the Ubud Traditional Market, a great place to find beautiful silk scarves, lightweight shirts, statues, kites, handmade woven bags, baskets or hats and many other hand-crafted goods. Locally known as Pasar Seni Ubud, the market is opposite the Puri Saren Royal Ubud Palace and opens daily. Dinner at Wong Solo. ➤ Transferred back to hotel for overnight stay.
